Our Heritage

Skeeter Beene's Car Care Center has deep roots in the Melbourne community, dating back to 1976 when "Willie" Beene opened his service station across the highway from the current location. Willie's commitment to providing quality service quickly earned him a loyal customer base. The station offered essential services like gas, tires, and oil changes, laying the foundation for what would become a multifaceted automotive business. In 1983, Willie moved the station to its current location and expanded services to include muffler repair and light-duty mechanic work.

Through it all, Willie's son, Skeeter, was by his side, gaining invaluable experience and learning the importance of customer satisfaction. Upon graduating high school with specialized alignment training in 1987, Skeeter joined the family business full-time. Together, they expanded their service offerings to include vehicle alignments and wholesale tire sales.

Carrying the Torch

Following Willie's passing, Skeeter took the helm, determined to uphold the high standards his father set. He and his wife, Holly, shared a vision of taking the business to the next level while staying true to their core values. In 2007 they added a wrecker and towing service, responding to the growing need for reliable roadside assistance. Recognizing the demand for affordable used auto parts, they further expanded in 2011 with the launch of their salvage business.

Today, Skeeter Beene's Car Care Center remains a family-owned and -operated establishment, seamlessly blending traditional values with modern automotive expertise. customer service remains their highest priority.
